Role Description/Responsibilities:

Marmi is currently seeking both Full and Part-Time Sales for our store at the Edina Galleria.

Marmi is a privately owned and operated specialty boutique offering fine European influenced footwear and accessories targeting upscale modern women. Marmi combines fashion and style with unparalleled selection and service in a comfortable boutique environment. What sets Marmi apart from the competition aside from our customer service is our exceptional size range of sizes 4 to 13 in widths slim to wide. Headquartered in St. Louis, MO, Marmi has been in the specialty retail business since 1989 and has rapidly grown into a recognizable leader in fashionable, European influenced footwear and accessories.

Our store personnel are handpicked and trained in proper fit, fashion consultation and the Marmi method of individual customer attention and satisfaction.

The right candidate for this position will be a top-tier sales professional with the track record to support it and posses higher end shoe experience Marmi's ideal associate is able to drive their own and the store's business to success through their personal sales, clienteling ability and willingness to leverage community connections and networking skills to build client base. They should be able to create excitement through exceptional customer service and provide the ideal shopping experience for each client, making Marmi a destination location!

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving the store business by surpassing personal sales goals
  • Ensuring that all customers receive flawless customer service
  • Developing and maintaining the Marmi customer base, making certain to build and maintain clientele
  • Assisting with set up of store visual displays and helping with store upkeep
  • Working the hours necessary to guarantee the success of the business

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years of previous retail sales experience, preferably in a commissioned environment of better shoes or accessories
  • Prior footwear experience, preferably for a better or luxury brand
  • Strong ability to drive sales, inspire competition, and motivate other sellers
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Must be an effective oral and written communicator
