Loyce Houlton’s Nutcracker Fantasy

Saturdays - November 24, December 1 and 8

 

Celebrate the holiday season with mini-performances of the beloved classic, Loyce Houlton's Nutcracker Fantasy, presented by the Minnesota Dance Theatre.

 

Presented at 1:00 and 2:00 p.m., the graceful Minnesota Dance Theatre dancers bring to life one of the most cherished holiday traditions. Choreographed more than 40 years ago by Minnesota native Loyce Houlton, the performances are narrated by Loyce's daughter, Lise, who is also the theatre's artistic director.

 

You can also register to win tickets to Minnesota Dance Theatre performances at participating Galleria stores between Friday, November 23 and Saturday, December 15.

 

Your Backstage Tour

Popular children’s author Tomie dePaola teamed up with the Minnesota Dance Theatre to create a series of limited edition Nutcracker Fantasy ornaments. They can be purchased at Guest Services between Friday, November 23 and Monday, December 24. Pick one up before Saturday, December 15 and you'll be registered to win a family four-pack of tickets and backstage tour to the Saturday, December 22, performance of Nutcracker.
