Job Description:

As a Store Manager, you will be the driving force behind our retail operations, leading a dynamic team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales goals in our new Bissinger's location at Galleria Edina. Your leadership will inspire your team to excel in all aspects of store management, from inventory control to customer service. You’ll create a vibrant shopping environment that not only meets but exceeds our customers’ expectations.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.

  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing comprehensive training and ongoing development

  • Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising.

  • Drive sales through effective pricing strategies and promotional activities.

  • Conduct employee orientation and training programs to develop a skilled workforce.

  • Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for efficient transaction processing and cash handling.

  • Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and resolve any issues promptly.

Basic qualifications

  • 5 years retail management experience preferably within a department store environment.

  • Must be available to work nights and weekends.

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Supervise shift operations and create work schedule ensuring smooth cashiering processes, customer interactions, and adherence to safety standards.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and employee development.

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.

  • Familiarity with retail math and budgeting practices.

Store hours: Mon-Sat 10am-7pm, Sunday 11am-6pm

Pay: $20.19 - $35.46 per hour
